Each piece is a solid wooden block, beautifully tactile and satisfyingly chunky, with a sparkling gem nestled within. They are not see-through, but oh, how they catch the light!
At 10 x 5 x 2.5cm, these little architectural treasures work beautifully alongside the other blocks in this collection, despite their different heights. There is something rather lovely about leaving a little room for imagination. These blocks don't tell a child what they must become, they simply offer shapes, colour, texture and sparkle, inviting children to build their own stories and worlds.
A little note about the gems:
As these blocks are handmade, an occasional tiny speck or small mark on a gem can occur. These little imperfections are part of the handmade nature of the pieces and do not detract from their beauty or their wonderful play value.
A cracked gem is considered a fault, however. This is very uncommon, but should you receive one, please let us know.
