Inspired by our Dutch Roofs story, these five beautifully shaped wooden blocks celebrate the wonderfully distinctive gable lines found throughout the Netherlands. These fascinating roof shapes have graced Dutch buildings for centuries, and we’ve transformed their architectural beauty into something little hands can build, stack and create with.
Each gable features a square opening, perfectly sized to fit our Lucite cubes, inviting children to add a little colour, light and sparkle to their buildings. Use them to create houses, towers, shops, castles and whimsical little streets, or simply let the shapes inspire whatever story unfolds.
Made from beautiful Beech wood, the five gables come presented in a wooden tray for easy storage and display. They work wonderfully alongside all Papoose Toys building blocks and gem blocks, encouraging open-ended construction and imaginative small-world play.
